Pops, I couldn’t ask for more perfect father than you.. you left me with a lifetime of wonderful memories from a child to adulthood, which I’ll treasure and keep close to my heart.  I love and miss you, till we meet again.

Uncle Eddie I am going to miss you so much. I love when  you would come and visit my pops and you guys would sit there and talk about fishing trips and thing you guys did. You made my pops very happy.  Loved  to see you guys sit and laughThen my pops was gone and you always called me to make sure I was ok,  we had  talks on the phone and talk about the good old days. The times when you guys were so young.We laughed and laughed. You helped me through  one of the toughest times of my life. . I thank you for that. For listening and telling me it’s ok. To the greatest man that’s ever lived, 
You left this world leaving the most wonderful memories in the hearts of your entire family.  My heart is broken knowing I will never again hear your voice or feel your warm embrace.  I want to thank you for the best childhood a girl could of ask for . 💕 I was honored to call you my dad.  Im going to miss our early morning 4 hour breakfasts and our yearly fishing trips.  As you take your journey I will keep your memory close to my heart.  I love you dad and you will truly be missed. Til our family chain links again.  

Well Eddie i don't know were to start so i will open a beer and give it a moment for my thoughts.Opening beer # 2 i just heard from Helen that you have just passed away and i thought it was time for beer # 3 . As i look back on the last 9 months were i lost my sister in law Josie my niece and best friend Rosemary and now you. Opening beer # 4 it doesn't seem like 52 years ago that you stood next to me when i married Sarah and started my life and family Opening beer # 5 looking back at all the dodger season openers we went to the old time games(we were young then) and the games dodgers against the Southen Calfornia tojans before spring training.Opening beer # 6 i will miss you best friend and brother in law i would write more but i only bought a 6 pack

This seems so unreal. I cant wrap my head around it. I was just with you a month ago eating breakfast planning a camping trip and talking bout going fishing. I can't find the words to express how much I'll miss you Gramps. Fishing trips will never be the same. I love you Gramps. 

Gramps, I can’t believe you’re gone. You have been the anchor for the Mata family. Thank you for my beautiful husband & my beautiful children. Without you I could not have been more blessed. Kiss my Rosie Posie. I will love you & miss you forever.

The Loss of you lies Heavy in Our Hearts.  Who would have thought that when Mom Mata moved onto Prospect Street, that the Brother of my friends, his Sisters,  Rose, Josie and Celia would bring us so close in Family Ties. That one day, you would Marry my Amiga Cathy and then with the Birth of your 7th child ,daughter, Christina, would then allow us to become Compadres, and a Household Family.  My son, Alex and I were Blessed with the time and Love you gave Us.  Always ready to help us.  Such a Good Man to be taken from All of Us, your Family and Friends.  We still can't believe  it.
I know You'll be Watching over Us along with Others we have  been sadden to Lose.  Alex and I will miss you deeply, Compad 😢💖💋💋🦋

I cannot believe you're gone... your passing has left a huge hole in my heart forever. You mean so much to all of our family. All the thank you's in the world will never be enough to express my gratitude for you... for raising my mom. For taking care of her... for helping her become the amazing woman and mother she is.
 I will forever cherish the memories of you and hold you in my heart always. Our family trips were few and I'm grateful that you were there to share in the fun... those trips will never be the same  without you.  Take care of my Tia Rosemary for all of us. Tell her we miss her and love her.
