Ellanora Carriere, of Slidell, Louisiana, was born on March 6, 1917, and passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, in Southern California. She was 97 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents Estela and Louis Navarre, her loving husband Joseph D. Carriere, and her son, Roland Ray. She leaves to cherish her memory, her other children: Huey Ray Sr., Judy McKay (Paul), Joseph G. Carriere, Carolyn Carriere-Huff (Douglas), Lester Carriere (Linda), Melody Carriere, and Dale Carriere. She is also survived by four siblings, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, special friends and caregivers. Internment at Forest Lawn Cemetery , Slidell, La.
