surrounded by loved ones.
After a rural upbringing in the beautiful Blue mountains in Pennsylvania,
“Margie” would go on to live a beautiful life,
filled with the things she loved most: family, sewing, food, and of course, baseball.
Baseball would go on to be a major common thread in her family;
she met her husband, Charles Verrone, after seeing him pitch one day,
and soon after her children and grandchildren would share her passion
and love for America’s favorite pastime.
Although she would go on to have only two sons, Patrick and Dean,
she is fondly remembered as having been a mother to many others,
whom she raised and treated as her own.
All through her life, one of her greatest pleasures was feeding people,
whether it was her friends, her family, or anyone who was hungry.
She would have five grandchildren, Gina, Patrick, Julie, Charlie, and Anthony.
Anyone who knew her could attest to her passion,
whether they were listening to her tell wonderful stories about her life,
being served a plate of something delicious,
or being smacked over the head for saying something cheeky.
All who knew her were touched by her life,
and she will be dearly missed.
