Aaron Clement was born on February 11, 1935 to Fred and Alice Clement. In 1953, at a mere 18 years of age, Aaron joined the United States Air Force serving as an airline mechanic and received several Medals of Honor. While serving his country, he became a boxer, obtained his BA in business administration and met his bride, Emma Lee Jones.
They were married on July 18, 1963. He passed away one day before their 57th anniversary. He was completely devoted to his bride and her three children. They traveled with him until his retirement on November 1, 1976.
They settled in San Jose, CA and lovingly provided their family with a comfortable life. Aaron was a reliable father, loving husband, and totally dedicated to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a sweetheart to us all, leaving us with only fond memories.
We will deeply miss him.
Aaron was survived by his wife, that he greatly cherished for 57 years, Emma Lee Clement of San Jose, CA, two sons Anthony Ray Jones of Stockton, CA, Kenneth Royal Rideout of Tracy, CA and one daughter Eartha Faye Mckenzie of San Jose, CA. He was also blessed with the ability to raise two of his great- grandchildren, Elijah Taylor and Tamieka Gibbs. Aaron also left behind a multitude of family, which included many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two daughter in-laws, five sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Gods Garden
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So, he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
