Alejandrina Soto de Ontiveros

Alejandrina Soto De Ontiveros Viewing: Monday, March 10, 4 to 8 p.m, 6 to 7pm the rosary. A memorial service for Alejandrina De Soto Ontiveros, 80, will be held on Tuesday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Willow Glen Funeral Home, 1039 Lincoln Ave, San Jose, CA 95125. Father Robert of St. John Vianney Church will officiate.

Alejandrina was one of 8 children and moved from San Luis Potosí, Mexico to San Jose California in 1973 with her husband Francisco and 3 small children. Her parents were Angel Soto and Juana Soto of San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

Alejandrina enjoyed spending time with her family from the States and San Luis Potosí, Mexico, she also enjoyed visiting different casinos with her husband and especially playing the slot machines and the Wheel of Fortune game. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Francisco Ontiveros to Peru, Canada, Morocco, Egypt, and Europe. She will be remembered for her generous, gentle, compassionate, kind heart, patient, loving, fun spirit, and a “go with the flow attitude”.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Francisco Ontiveros, her children Alex Ontiveros and his life partner Sonia Muñoz, Veronica Ontiveros-Giggy and her husband John Giggy, Juan Ontiveros and his wife Tuyet Quan-Ontiveros, and Elizabeth Ontiveros, her grandchildren Liliana, Jackson, Micah, and Emma. her siblings Felicitas Torres, Miguel Soto, Gilberto Soto, Sylvia Soto, and Maria Soto. She is predeceased by her brothers Francisco and Alberto.
