Alene "Beanie" "Beanie" Reese

Alene "Beanie" Joyce Reese of Sunnyvale, California, passed away peacefully Friday evening, March 18, 2011 at the age of 80 at Kaiser Santa Teresa. She had a full life doing what she loved the most, raising her family and seeing them grow into her pride and joy. Her favorite things were bowling, spending time with family and friends, taking cruises, playing the slots, and for the last four years, spending time with her dog "Mister" by her side. She will be missed by all that knew her.

She grew up in San Francisco and moved to Sunnyvale in the late 50's.

Beanie is survived by her children: Wade Reese, Rick Reese, Mark Reese, and Toni Belknap; their spouses: Marci Reese, Sandy Reese, Carolyn Reese, and Mike Belknap; grandchildren: Jeremy Reese, Amie Reese, Cristina and Austen Lee, Sean Reese, Jessica Reese, Daniel Reese, David Reese, and Madison Belknap; step-grandchildren: Michael and Nikki Belknap and Thomas Belknap; step-great-granddaughter: Abigail; siblings: Bob Morse and Sylvia Nissim; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herb Reese Jr.; son: Howard Reese; parents: Olive Morse and Garard Vanderveen and step-father Richard Morse, and siblings: Faye, Jim, and Johnny.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd from 9am - 9pm at Oak Hill Funeral Home and the Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 24th at 1 pm in Chapel of the Oaks.
