Angie Marie Sewell

Angie Sewell (98) lived at the Empress Care Center in San Jose. She passed on June 19, 2022 after a short illness. Angie was born in San Jose, California on October 2, 1923. In 1941, she married Robert Sewell, who passed in 1962.

She worked many years until she retired at 70. Her interests were spending time with her family and enjoying retirement, which included shopping, coffee and TV. Angie was a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother and was loved by many because of her kindness.

May she rest in peace.

Angie was predeceased by parents, Vincent and Lena Serio, sisters Rose and Katie, brothers Joe, Frank, Nicholas, Tony and of course her son, Robert. She left behind daughters Patricia, Diana, Donna and Jackie, brother Salvador, plus six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Angie will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, with the Rosary at 7 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Holy Cross Church, 580 E. Jackson Street, San Jose. Interment to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 2650 Madden Avenue, San Jose.
