Anthony passed away peacefully at home on April 3, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife Louise of almost 66 years and their five children: Toni Chellino (Edward), Karen Giammona, Cindy Buttitta (Nicholas), Sam Giammona (Kristin), Dan Giammona (Teresa). Anthony was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren: Christine Chellino, Ellen Cuellar, Toni Morgan, Joseph and Rachel Buttitta, Matthew and Mia Giammona, Zoey, Grace and Giovanni Giammona and three great-granchildren: Ashley Cuellar, Justin and Nicholas Morgan and many loving friends and family members.
He was predeceased by his brothers Michael and Joseph Giammona and his sisters Frances Gendusa and Josphine Votano.
Anthony was a long time business owner in San Jose. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean war.
The rosary will be held on Sunday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m. at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 70 Willow Street, San Jose. Funeral services on Monday, April 11th at 2:30 p.m. at Santa Clara Mission Cemetary, St. Clare Chapel, 490 Lincoln St., Santa Clara.
