Betty J. Cooper passed peacefully Wednesday, April 4th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was 94. Known to many as “Bouncing Betty,” she tap danced in her golden years, winning numerous trophies and ribbons. She loved her grandchildren immensely and spent many a summer caring for them, making sure to never run out of ice cream. Her smile and laugh will be missed, although she joins her husband Richard Cooper who preceded her in death. Visiting hours will be on Monday, April 15th from 9:00 – 10:00am. A graveside service will follow at 11:00am at Oak Hill.
