On Wednesday, March 15, Betty Jane Leonard, a beloved mother and grandmother passed away. She was 99 years old. Born to Grant Ingram and Clara Amack Ingram of Oxford Nebraska, Betty lived most of her life in San Jose, CA. Betty was a homemaker who loved gardening and took great pride in her home.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Donald R. Leonard, sister Marceline and brothers Dean and Don. Survived by her children Richard Leonard of Inverness FL, Jane Malynn (Frank) of San Jose CA, Donald Leonard (Rose) of Morgan Hill CA, Diana Vazquez (Ernie) of Roseville CA, and brother-in-law John Leonard of Folsom CA. She was also survived by 8 grandchildren,17 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
The family is planning a private graveside service to celebrate Betty's life, and requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association https://www.alz.org/, or charity of your choice.
