

Celia was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Carlos and Prodijos Garcia. She was married to the late Marcelino Cordero. Celia worked in the Food Processing Industry at King Prince Seafood Corporation in Brunswick, GA. She was employed as a Security Guard. She also volunteered her time to the Red Cross, Relay for Life, Saint Francis Catholic Church, and Jekyll Island Christmas season. She was also a Spanish Ambassador to the Brunswick community. In San Jose she worked for several canning companies such as the San Jose Cannery and Sun Garden Cannery. She also volunteered her time to Woodland Rehabilitation Center and several Catholic churches. She traveled to places like Germany, Hawaii, Luxemburg, Canada, Washington DC and New York. Celia loved her pets, crochet, embroidery, and other crafts. Her love was caring for children. Celia was blessed with a loving family. She is survived by her daughter Maria Elena Jackson (Andrew); her sons Marcelino Cordero Jr. and Jesus Cordero (Yvonne); Grandchildren: Andrea Spain (Quinten); Andrew Jackson Jr. (Andrea); Zachery Cordero; Dakota Cordero; Shane Cordero; Catelyn Cordero; and Rosalinda Cordero: Great-Grandchildren Jackson Spain; Dylan Spain; Alexander Spain; and many nieces and nephews. Her brothers and sisters are Albert Garcia; Rosa Castillo; Lourdes Palafox; Beatriz Aldana; Guadalupe Mercado; Maria Elena Cortes; Jose Luis Garcia; and Arturo Garcia. Also the late Carlos Garcia; Fernando Garcia; Anita Garcia; and Gloria Garcia.
