I just found out that Coach Warren passed away and really saddened to hear this but at the same time know he's in a better place.

He was my coach at James Lick my senior year class of 2002, he was so tough and pushed us to our limits every single day. He taught me to never show weakness and if anyone ever knocked us to the ground to pick ourselves up and never back down no matter how outnumbered we were. He was so tough but fair, not for everyone but if you trusted him he would make sure to give you the same.

Coach Warren will be missed and I can only imagine how many people he helped become strong, accountable young men.

Rest in Peace Coach Warren

Clifford Warren, (brother of Paula  Warren (Soc High School graduate 1973) was a great father and teacher to his children as well as other children fortunate to know him. He was a mentor to many not only in sports but in life as well. A great brother in law to me and the Smith family. He will be missed and Never forgotten.

Cliff was my football coach back in 89-90. Cliff was a great mentor and coach. My brother and I stayed in contact with cliff after high school as well. He brought us along to coach with him at James Lick. I’m blessed to have had cliff as a coach and also a friend.  Rest in paradise coach.

Mr. Warren was always an awesome dad.  Not only to his own children, but to all their friends as well. He welcomed everyone into his home and into his family. I will always be thankful for that.  Mr. Warren had one of the best senses of humor I have ever encountered. You will never leave the Warren house without laughing at a clever joke. You will always be in good spirits. That sense of positivity and the constant smile that he spread will live on forever through everyone who has been lucky enough to meet him. 

My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. I met Cliff back in the 90's while coaching  football at Silver Creek HS. Not only was he a great coach but a true friend. Over his lifetime he touched the hearts and minds of many student athletes, not only teaching them about succeeding in sports but about succeeding in life. 

We will all miss you Cliff.

Coach Warren was one of a  kind.  He was our sons  basketball coach at James Lick High School in the early 90’s.  His mentoring was a great addition to our sons life  experiences.  Our thoughts and prayers to his family,  Rest In Peace Coach.
