That is very sad news. My husband just passed and they worked together. Extremely well mannered and friendly.  We went to grade school together. It was hard times back then downtown in that area. But I'll always remember him with that big smile and happy ways.  We used to pick on people alot we had problems but never him.  He was just the cutest and everyone knew he was untouchable and that he was going to somebody.  But he wasn't trying to be like us and we didn't want him to be.  We wanted him to stay chill just like he always was.  Anything I can do to help just give a holler.  15 years later but I'm barely finding out.  He went way too soon.  With such a good heart, can't even say that about most these days.

Darren, u will be truly missed but never forgotten, my prayers are with you and your loved ones. You are with The Lord now. RIP

Darren may you rest until the day of judgement when ur name will be called u where a great friend in Jr high and high school. My prayers go out to your children and rest of your family rest now

Words can't describe the emotions felt by all who knew and loved Darren. I just wanted to share with you all, the impact that Darren's friendship had on my life. When I was going through the most difficult time of my life, Darren helped me out of deep depression. His encouragment and love for life was contagious, and my memories are filled with the great times we shared together. My continued thoughts and prayers are with you all.
