Well my dear friend, I'd been thinking about you, and when I went to wish you happy birthday this morning on facebook, I saw, to my astonishment, that you were gone. So happy that we got to talk and spend time together again before you had to go.

I have wonderful childhood memories of growing up with David & all of the Hamilton family. David will be greatly missed, but let his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. Rest in peace.

What I learned from Dave while working with him for two years is priceless and will last a lifetime. He was a genuinely nice person and had a wry sense of humor. My condolences to his family.

Sad to see this. I remember David from the two houses off Westheimer around the corner from Bering Hrdwre.  He was great guy.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dave's family. I remember Dave from back in the mid 70s. He was always fun to be around and just an amazing person.

My condolences to the family, and prayers for the gentle arms of God to surround you as you move through this painful transition.  I remember Dave as a great gift to those whose young lives he touched in the late 70's.

Dave was a very old friend of mine from the mid 70's..where we shared some special times in the good old days.  I am so glad to see the wonderful photos of his life here - it shows me he had a wonderful fulfilled life!  To his family, those who knew him, loved him a lot!
