To the Pena Family--I am so saddened to hear about Diana's passing.  Although I had not had contact with her in years, I did get to spend time with her at the Class of 73's 20 year reunion.  She and I were friends for a long time, and I'll always cherish her friendship.  She loved her family dearly and I hope your memories of her wonderful personality and smile will give you comfort.  Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

We loved her and will surely miss her our hearts go out her family and those she loved.  We would like to be there on Saturday but with the weather we cannot make it.

All my memories are when we were growing up, we always kept in touch and this last months have been really hard,we cried together and laughed, she would never complain, she loved her family very much, and now she is in a better place Love you all. Diana & I met 33 years ago when we both worked @ san Jose Medical Center. In time she transfered to Regional Medical center & I followed once my hospital shut its doors. Once @ Regional, Diana & I worked in the same department together for the past 5 years.

I would like to not only tell the family I am sorry for their loss, but also to let them know how much they were loved by her.
Bob,.... We heard about every air show, restaurant & strawberry festival she drug you to.
Bobby,........... We heard about her dancing at the Kenny Chesney concert & each & every time you went to Disneyland.
Marie,.............. We knew how each morning you made Scott's lunch @ your Mom's & how your classes were going @ college.
And Steven, her for ever "Chick a dee",.................... we followed you through your football in high school, to basic training.  She was proud to be a Marine Mother.
I hope this brings some comfort for you, to know how much joy you all brought into her life. God bless you all.

My beloved sister Diana, my only sister...I will miss you so much.  There won't be a day that goes by that I don't think of you.  I'm so thankful to have had you in my life - you loved me and this whole family so sweetly, unconditionally and so completely & I'm so grateful for that.  You are in my heart always.  I rejoice with you now because I know that you are whole again and that you can dance again and that all of Heaven welcomed you with such joy & celebration that surprised you so much that you are still being amazed by it!  I wish I could see the smile on your face!  Rest in Christ's peace & glory my dear.  See you when I get there.
