Dion J Jayakoddy

Dion Joseph Jayakoddy, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Dion lived a wonderful life full of love and laughter. He loved to travel, play his drums, listen to music, and spend quiet nights eating dinner with family and watching his favorite movies and television shows. Dion was a fervent advocate for his community, helping those in need by providing basic necessities to the impoverished, food to the unhoused, or using his expertise to plan others' lives and futures.

Dion is survived by his wife, Ana, and daughter, Diann; his mother, Christobel and younger brother, Pio, his wife, Louise and children, Michael and Lucas; and the children of his late brother, Mario--his nieces, Tasha, Natalia, and nephew Marlon.

We are so grateful for the dedication and care provided Dion's medical staff who helped him during his time of sickness, and the many friends and family who were able to graciously visit and bring meals for Ana and Diann during and after Dion’s hospital stay--especially Iggie and Adam Rahjboy, the Arca Family, the Linga Family, the Abetria Family, the Ekanayake Family, the Ibrahim Family, and their Sri Lankan friends both near and far. We are also most appreciative of our family abroad, as your prayers and love are felt, and we hope to honor Dion’s life and memory with a beautiful service together. We humbly ask for your continued prayers for our family and the eternal repose of the soul of Dion.
