My heart is heavy...i just found out. I remember the last time i saw him...smiling and laughing about his crazy day of "Customer Service". He will be missed!

Amy it has been so long since I've seen you.  The years go on and it's at these moments you realize how much time has truly gone by.  I remember coming over to your house in San Jose and holding little Ryan as a baby.  And now I look at him and Samantha's pictures and I'm amazed at how beautiful they have turned out.
 
When I met Don, he was full of life and loved to live every moment to the fullest.  His laughter was contagious and got the office going all the time.  I remember doing a project with him for Charles Schwab in the early 1990's.  He was the project manager and he taught me something that I'll never forget.  He had an amazing ability to build relationships with people.  I saw him talking to so many people and they would know him by name and would have smiles on their faces and shake his hand every time they saw him.  I wondered how he was able to do so much in a short amount of time; it was his ability to develop relationships.  He cared for people and took little things to them to keep the relationship alive.  I saw him ask someone what they liked and the next time he saw them in San Francisco he had it for them as a token of appreciation.  
 
Amy, I only knew Don from the business side and I see from the many pictures that you brought him family. You gave him a place to call home and a family to be home with.  As I scanned the pictures posted of your family I see happiness in Don that I didn't see when I first met him.  
 
I am so sorry for yours and your family's loss.  Only God, family and friends can help us through these tough times.  Don was a great man and he will be missed.  I will be praying for you and your family to have the strength to support each other at such a difficult time.

We are all so sad to hear of Donny's passing.  He was very special, a giant heart, and a smile that would light up the room.  All of us that knew him, remember his joyful spirit.  Our hearts are heavy today and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We met in kindergarten at Oak Avenue / Graduated Awalt High 1970 / did Comdex in Las Vegas when we worked together at HTL. 
Shared a wee bit of adventures during our time together.

I just learned of Donny's passing and am feeling sad as I think of him and remember his energy.  This is a great photo and a nice one to remember him by.  There is never anything very helpful to say at these times other than I will pray for your family and do believe that Donny's spirit is soaring somewhere out there.
