Dear Thomas, I am so sorry for your loss... I met your son when he was about 8 years old, such a handsome boy. I pray that God gives you the comfort to get through this difficult time.

Thomas my condolences to you and all of Dylan's love ones.  It is tragic to have lost someone so young who really didn't even experience all life has to offer.  So many bad things happen to all of us sometime in our lifetimes however if we can just focus on the fact that the pain of a situation is temporary and it to will pass.

In the small place within us is a voice.  One that beckons us into the foolishness of faith, that points our gaze to the birds and flowers, that, in unguarded moments, lets our muscles relax, and our hearts lean into loved ones; In unexpected whispers we hear it, calling us to remember your promises, your grace, your faithfulness; and suddenly, we discover that you are enough Lord.  We are given the gift of our children only until they are called back to Jesus.   Ours is a loving and always forgiving God who I am sure is embracing your son at this moment.
