Our beloved, Enzo Ceth Dayoan, who left us far too soon last February 18 at the age of 10. Enzo was born on November 9, 2014, and he filled our lives with love, joy, and laughter every single day.
Enzo was a bright and loving boy who brought so much happiness to everyone around him. Known by everyone for his constant, radiant smile, he brightened every room he entered. His smile was contagious, spreading warmth and joy to all who knew him. His favorite hobbies included drawing, playing soccer and baseball, and enjoying his time on his iPad or watching his favorite shows. He especially loved playing Pokémon Go, Minecraft, and Roblox, and he always had a special place for his board game of choice, chess. He was a fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Naruto, and Series of Unfortunate Events, and his favorite songs included September, Without You, Just the Way You Are, and Can't Take My Eyes Off You.
Enzo had a heart full of dreams. He aspired to be a doctor or a lawyer, always showing a natural curiosity and intelligence that far exceeded his years. His favorite foods included lumpiang shanghai, fried rice, jalapeño poppers, and spaghetti, and he loved to sip on Mango Fiesta and Icee Blue Raspberry. Enzo’s bright cyan color reflected the warmth and light he brought into our lives.
To his parents, Ramon and Cecilia, Enzo was more than just a son—he was their best friend and teammate. He was inseparable from them, always seeking their company with a loving embrace, showering them with hugs and kisses, and even offering massages every single day. His siblings, Ma Carmela, Renz Russel, Arizza Camille, Michael Angelo, and Ramil Christian, will always remember him as the smart, playful, and easy-to-care-for younger brother who brought laughter and joy into their lives. His cousins, Noah and Joshua, remember him as their Kuya, always looking out for them and playing with them whenever they could. His family and relatives were always impressed with his thoughtfulness, maturity, and skills, which were well beyond his years.
Enzo’s church family remembers him as a faithful, kind-hearted boy who grew up surrounded by love at the San Jose Church of Christ. He was cherished by his pastors, teachers, classmates, and churchmates for his sincere faith and gentle spirit. He was always willing to lend a hand, and his maturity and patience were well beyond his years.
Enzo’s friends and classmates recall him as an intelligent and chatty boy, eager to be first in line and always ready for the next adventure. He woke up early every day, excited to start the day and make the most of it.
Enzo’s life was full of love, laughter, and joy, and we are grateful for every moment we shared with him. He was extraordinary, not because of his mind, but because of his kind, gentle, and loving heart. Our hearts ache as we wish we could have more time with him, more hugs, more laughter, and more love to give. But we find comfort knowing that Enzo’s life was filled with love, and that love will live on in our hearts forever.
While we grieve the loss of our precious Enzo, we are confident that we will see him again in God's eternal glory. This is not goodbye, but a heartfelt until we see you again.
We love you more than words can express, Enzo. You will always be in our hearts.
