Fumiko Higuchi

Fumiko Higuchi at rest November 29, 2020 in Campbell, CA. Age 98 yrs. Fumiko was born in Mountain View, CA on September 25, 1922 to Shimoye and Yoshikichi Yamaji. She is survived by daughter Alice Susan (Robert) Kawaguchi, son Thomas (Wendy) Higuchi and grandchildren, Bryan Higuchi, Emily Kawaguchi, and Kelsey Kawaguchi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hidemasa Higuchi, and by 6 siblings, Teruko (George) Matsumura, Haruo Yamaji, Tamiyo (Paul) Matsumura, John (Frances) Yamaji, Toshio Yamaji, and Taneyo Yamaji. She is also survived by sisters- in -law Rosie Yamaji and Lois Yamaji, numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Fumiko will be remembered for her love of family, passion for gardening, and resilient spirit. Due to COVID, a memorial will be held at a future date.
