Gabina R. Nava was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was the matriarch of our family and the glue that held us all together.
Gabina came to California in her early 20’s from Juarez, MX to find a better life for her then, two young sons. She loved her kids fiercely and was always there for them. She worked many jobs before settling and retiring from El Camino Hospital. She worked at canaries to nurseries to the apricot plants in the Summers. She worked hard so her kids would have a good life and all the opportunities she never had. She was able to take early retirement and for the last 29yrs enjoyed her life.
Gabina is survived by her kids Jose Nava, Alejandro Nava, Ruben Nava, Lorena Villanueva, Mario Nino Magdaleno and her late son Felix Torres. She has 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed
