Gokul, you were cool.  That is what I really liked about.  I really missed that.

Uncle and Aunty, It is a great loss to everyone known to Gokul. It is very difficult to compensate his loss. Let His Soul be Rest in Peace. I have come across many times how he talks and shows affection to Sindhu in those days. We pray the Almighty to give you strength to overcome the utmost loss .

Gokul was very respected and admired here at Couchbase.  His accomplishments are lasting, and he will be missed.  On a personal level, I wish I had known him better.  Everyone who did knew him personally says he was a wonderful person.   
One of my favorite quotes is from Hellen Keller.  In her quote, she speaks of her certainty that she is moving on to a better place.  She said:
"Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there's a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see."  -Hellen Keller

As far as we were concerned, you were far away from us physically, but with us all the time, mentally It is said that, like joy gets multiplied, sorrow gets divided when shared Our only hope is that this is true! Otherwise, how will we all ever get over you leaving us, and carry on with our lives? 

Now that you have gone farther than anyone of us can see, don't think that none of us can meet you ! We will meet again, some day, some where! Talking for just myself, I hope to do these things together with you (again!): 

1)Climb Easraan/Easan  Malai
2)Visit your grandfather's fields
3)Go for a swim in the well, and 
4)Do all those other things that you almost forced on me, with your boundless energy!
