Kathy, Sandy, Brian, and Laurie,
We just heard the news today (7/8/13) of your mom's passing and felt a deep sadness and need to express our condolences. On behalf of the entire Futia Family, we have many fond memories of your parents, grandparents, and the children from the early 1950's from when we first came from Italy. Not knowing any English, your family was so kind, loving, warm, and welcomed us into your home. We remember your parents coming over to our parents home to share recipes and to cook.  Our parents looked forward to that. Again, words cannot express the sadness we feel. Hugs to all of you!

Aunt Isabelle and Uncle Lawrence always had a house full of warmth, laughter, great food and love. From the time I can remember, I looked forward to my visits with them. Aunt Isabelle, we will keep your memory alive, and your recipes will be made with love. Rest in everlasting peace.

The love for the family and the wonderful cooking are memories of visiting Aunt Isabelle and Uncle Lawrence I will always keep. Rest in peace, we love you.

What a legacy that will continue thanks to recipes passed on, expressions of wisdom, and strength of lingering presence.
