Isamu Esom Ohara

Esom Ohara, age 102, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. He is preceded in death of his loving wife, Aki, and is survived by his loving son Glenn, daughters Darlene (Steve Maruyama), Ginger (Mark Kubo), and 2 grandchildren Shane Kubo(Lesley) and Sandra (Marco Ballestrasse) and 4 great-grandchildren Gabriel, Noah, Derek and Matt.

During his retirement years, Esom enjoyed going camping and fishing with his family and going to the casinos with his wife, Aki. Esom also enjoyed taking care of the kiwi trees at the family ranch in Morgan Hill.

The family will hold a private service, and in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to American Heart Association or your favorite charity.
