loved music: playing piano, French horn, and singing, and
his curiosity for electronics led him to graduate top of his
class in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto.
He loved learning and problem solving and though he was
scholarly, he had a keen intellectual sense of humor.
Selfless and dedicated, John was a man for others.
John loved people. He taught them, served them, stood up
for them and nurtured their potential. He worked tirelessly
for 20 years as a BSF leader - he had a servant's heart. John
was an abundant provider to his children Eric and Heather,
and passionately devoted to Sandy for 66 years. He
cherished their partnership - best friends for life.
John was kind, patient, and loving. He inspired through his
compassion and selflessness. May his memory be a blessing
as we carry his light within our hearts.
