It was suppose to be his first time vacation in Hawaii with his children and grandchildren that turned out to be a One Sweet Day. We are devastated to share the news of the passing of our beloved Father Julian Ardiente Amigable. He passed away unexpected peacefully in the morning of June 23, 2021. It was just our very first night in Hawaii. But God called him already.
He was well known as “Tatay Julie”, “Papa Julie”, or “Lolo Julie”. He was born on January 28, 1954 in Iloilo, Philippines. He resided in the USA of the year 1988. He lived in San Jose and left behind beautiful-loving 7 siblings, 5 children and 11 grandchildren.
Tatay Julie was more than a Father. He was a loving, caring, jolly, friendly… overall he had a pure heart of gold, that’s why he was loved by so many. He loved all his family and friends…especially his grandchildren. Everytime he sees his grandchildren, he would feed them and he gives them money even if its just a dollar. He had a smile that lit up a room, always laughing, dancing and making jokes. Every family gathering —— it wouldn’t be a party if he is not present. He took care of everyone. Tatay Julie loves his work so much that he would missed special family events because he was either still working super late evening. Yes, he even sleeps at his work by his choice. He worked at ICC for over 12 years. Loves every single of his coworker and boss’. He just retired this year 2021 at age 67. He was also well known as massage therapist/doctor for everyone. He would massage anyone who are in pain and sick. His favorite thing to use was ginger and massage oil. Best believe they get better the next day or two. Besides from loving to cook and bbq at home with family, Tatay Julie also loves eating at the buffet. It wouldn’t be a week without going out to eat. Tatay Julie also loves the Filipino telenovela “Ang Probinsyano”. He never missed an episode, #1 fan of Philippine actor Coco Martin. Also, Tatay Julie loves to play his old school jam music and sing his heart out. He didn't give a second thought to offering help to others as well. Always the first one to show up when you need help. He’s already missed dearly by many.
He was only 67 years of age when he passed away. Gone too soon but will never ever be forgotten. Forever will remain in our hearts. We love and miss you so much Tatay. Till we see you again. Rest In Paradise Tatay Julie.
