Beloved wife to the late John Esquivel, loving mother of 4 daughters, Tracy Tarin, Stephanie and Tara Esquivel and the late Eileen Madrigal. Linda met her late husband John Esquivel through mutual friends and were married for over 57 years. Together they had 4 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Who would have known that such a tremendous amount of love, compassion, kindness and empathy for others could pour out so freely from such a little stature, a tiny 4'6" woman Linda's heart was bigger than anyone we've known. She was beloved by all who knew her and was always there for anyone who needed her help. She was a hard worker from the time she was young, working in the fields to help her mother support her 9 siblings, then later on in life working production assembly jobs in electronics at Memorex and later at Mrs. Smith's frozen foods to help provide for her own family. She was aligned with her husband when it came to raising their daughters with strict rules, high expectations and excellent manners. She wanted to raise respectable, strong independent young women. Nothing but the best is what she strived for, often loosening her own self within the journey of trying to be a great Mom. She most enjoyed taking care of her home, husband, children and grandchildren and as she got older, visits with great grandchildren. All she ever wanted was to be surrounded by those she so loved. Her hobbies? One word... Her "Family". She also always loved attending functions with her siblings and nieces and nephews. Her favorite treats... birthday cake, eclairs and the cream horns from Pete's Bakery... or maybe some Pan Dulce from Pink Elephant. She was "Unconditional Love" our best friend, the love of our lives... our Everything! Her absence will be life changing for us all. We will miss her eternally.
