Linda Field Manuel, aged 84, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Hollister, California. She was born in the Philippines to Valentina and Sidney Fields. She was the second born of three children.
She married Timoteo Manuel and has been his loving wife for 66 years. Together their loving union brought eight children into their life and happy home.
Linda will be forever loved and missed by her husband Timoteo, her loving children Ronald (Jenet) Manuel, Remy (Siegfred) Ramos, Roger (Maricel) Manuel, Ronnie (Christina) Manuel, Ramel (Gemma) Manuel, Maria (Devlin) Jackson, Kenneth (Tiff) Manuel and Resty (Mari) Manuel. Linda was blessed to be a grandmother to 29 grandchildren and great grandmother to twenty four. She will be dearly remembered by her sister Erma Granado. May her lessons, laughter and love live on in the legacy she has left us.
Linda was preceded in death by brother Larry Field, mother Valentina (Clemente) Manuel and father Sidney (Arnas) Field. What a blessed reunion it will be in Heaven when the angels lead Linda home.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, May 30, 2025 starting at 12:00 PM till 9:00 PM at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, located at 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA. The rosary & vigil service will begin at 6:00 PM that evening. On Saturday, May 31st, 2025 a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, located at 5111 San Felipe Road, San Jose, CA 95135 starting at 12:00 PM. The burial service will follow at 2:00 PM at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, located at 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539.
