Marian Ringor, our Mom, went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2021. She was 93 years young. Born in Lucerne, Colorado on June 18, 1927, the third child of 9 total, she grew up in a very modest home. At age 14 the family moved to California. Mom didn’t share the dream of stardom that brings so many people to California. Her dream was to get married and have children. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered to her. She never searched for praise, she quietly embraced her role as a loving mother. She taught us how to crochet, sew, embroider and how to play, checkers, Old Maid, Authors, double Dutch, hop scotch and Jacks..!! She was a Sunday School teacher for many years and Treasurer for Primera Iglesia. She served God with all her heart, soul, mind, spirit, body and strength. She was an avid traveler visiting 7 countries in Europe, Egypt and the Holyland, a life long dream. Countless mini trips to Disneyland and several visits to Walt Disney World. Crossed many states traveling by car from San Jose to Chicago. In 1962, she attended night classes that guaranteed a job opportunity with Lockheed Aero Space and Missiles. She worked in the assembly line under government naval contracts and received countless recognition for her outstanding work quality. Most recently she enjoyed her daily word puzzles, reading her bible, watching her favorite TV game shows and musicals. On November 21, 2020 she had mini strokes, resulting in Vascular Dementia that took her eyesight... but listening to her favorite game shows was still a daily ritual. Who would have guessed that at the end of 93 hearty years that “Over The Top” with Sylvester Stallone would be her absolute favorite....!!! She was blessed to live a long happy and healthy life, only 4 months and 9 days without eyesight and some confusion. We are forever Thankful for God’s mercy and grace that he bestowed to our family......
She is survived by daughters, Dorothy and Nora, (Gloria and Daddy welcomed her home), Grandchildren Brenda, Moses and Ernest II. Great Grandchildren Justine, Valarie, Moses Jr., Gregory, Desiree, Brydon, Titus, Ernest III, Ciara, Krystal, Jennifer and Joshua. Great Great Grandchildren, Halie, Raymond, Joseph, Bella, Aislee, Marco, Krystian and Eli.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting any donations may be sent to the Dementia Society of America.
