As a former brother-in-law Matt and I spent many times together playing and singing. We always had to do some Everly Brothers and a little Roy Orbison. I still possess a wonderful belt buckle with a silver dollar that Matt was gracious enough to give to me one time. He will be missed by many.

As I read through the previous memories that my cousins have shared about Matt,  I certainly can say I remember all those special things about him too.
I especially have fond memories with all us kids, on the long ride in our station wagon to Placerville with Matt. 
He would sing “Lodi” from CCR and other tunes from that great 
band,  that reminds me so much of my kind cousin.
I think about when he was in the military over in Asia and how I wrote many letters to him. He told me how much they meant to him to have a little touch of home while he was away.
I will remember Matt with much love & I continue to pray for all of our family.



Matt was so much older then me,  but when I think of him, I remember his bike, guitar, big cowboy hat and that mustache. He was my handsome cowboy cousin. He was always so sweet and loving with a sparkle in his eye.

My memory of my cousin was all the time we all got together and played hide and seek when we were young. The next was when he would come over on his motorcycle and ask my mom if it was ok the take me in a ride I was in high school and thought that was the greatest. We would go up to Santa Cruz . We ride upto Mt.  Hamilton .  Good times. He was the one who showed how to ride a motorcycle. He will truly be missed. God Bless and Rest In Peace cousin.

Matt was my “big” cousin and the best memories of him were when he would ride his motorcycle over to our house and visit. I remember his mustache and think he look like the Marboro man. When he would get to our house he would sit on his bike and smoke a cigarette before he came into the house.  Another great memory of Matt was when our families would get together He and Tommy would start to play the guitar’s. I just love to hear them play and sing. The guitar is such a beautiful instrument and they sure made it sound awesome together. I will miss Matt and I only wish I was able to visit more often. Rest in peace my cousin and may God always be with you as you forever rest.
