Was watching Joi Koi’s stand up on Netflix. He reminded me of you so I googled your name . Me and Danny were Shocked to hear of your passing. I searched for you on Facebook a few years back with no luck. So many childhood memories growing up on Beckett Dr . Hanging out at Windmill  , riding bikes at the Jumps by Andrew Hill . Skatingboarding , and breakdancing sessions in my Dads garage. Driving around the neighborhood in your parents car with D Mayol on the liscense plate 😂 . The red Chevy Car with the booming sound system , Taco Bell , and Luckys .  I wish we could have reconnected . I know your in a better place man . I’ll see you when I get there ... 

Matt mayol, my old friend from the old neighborhood. I remember playing basketball with you daily, my brother tattooing that SJ on your back, cruising out on Friday nights, and our 2 am 24 hour fitness gym visits hahaha...Man those were the days.  We lost touch and I always tried to find you, to see how you were doing. I was glad that you finally came out, but disappointed that you didn't think I would accept you, brother. I'm married with 3 kids now. My oldest son is gay. When I found out, I just loved on him and accepted him. I told him the story of my old buddy Matt, and how I'd have acceptef you for who you were. That I'd be here for you if you ever reached out. Sad that I had to find you this way. I'm not sure how or why you left this earth, but I wish your family love, peace and happiness.

Am one of Matts, Uncle, Jim LuPiba in Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii, when in town would like to show you around this Island. Our condolences.

Matthew AKA Gladys, I'm still in disbelief but have to come to reality that you have left us.  I will always remember the good times going back to our 1776 Almaden days.  I have know you for more than 25 years you could always count on me and I could always count on you

Matthew, I can still see your face, hear your laugh, your eyes I will never forget, as we had heart to heart talks over the last few years.  We talked about your 'cancer journey' the positive side of that journey, the rawness, emotional journey.  I feel privileged that I shared it with you, that you shared with me.  Towards the end I said to you that I could tell you anything.  I miss our long talks, the realness of it.  I appreciate how real of a person you were, no doubt where I or anyone stood with you, sometimes difficult, but I'll take the truth any day of the week.  I love you Matt.  I'm so sorry you had to suffer and be sick in this world.  I saw you after you left, so peaceful, no longer in pain, I got to hold your hands, say goodbye for now, tell you I love you.
