Sorry son that it has taken me this long to post on this site.  

You asked not to be forgotten.  You couldn't have given us an easier thing to do.  I miss you every hour of every day.  

I will never forget you and I will never stop missing you. 

When you left us, a huge part of me went with you.

You were an amazing trainer, friend and role model. I will always remember how dedicated and professional you were as a trainer and team member for our club. You were an amazing guy with a huge heart. You changed my life and made me healthier and for that I will always owe you. Someday we will meet again in that special place.

I am sadden to hear of your son's passing. May you find the strength you need through family and friends at this difficult time. Matthew is in the lords arms now free from pain and he's smiling down on you. God bless you and your family.

To Matt's family and friends,

I did not personally know Matt, but Tammy Dumond is a special friend I met through working at National Semiconductor.  When Tammy entered her Facebook comment regarding Matt's passing at such a young age my heart went out to all who loved and knew Matt.  For whatever reason,God needed Matt in heaven now.  We never know when our time will come, but trust that each and everyone that holds Matt in their hearts and memories will rejoin Matt on the glorious day we cross from this life on earth into Eternity. Matt will be at the Heavenly gates waiting to welcome each of his loved ones to our final home in heaven.  Trust in the Lord and he will bring you peace.     Barbara Krause  (Arlington,TX.).

I have felt your pride when speaking of your family. Knowing you have lost your son just when he was embarking on his personal journey is heartbreaking. I know your family, together, will keep each other through such an inconceivable loss. Travis was a classmate of Matt's and in his honor will be sure Travis is tested regularly, thank you for your message about that.

Bruce and family,
 The Lord softly called his name, Matt heard, answered Him and stepped into eternity. God has welcomed His son, Matthew home. We are taught through our faith that to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. May God be your source of comfort. May He wrap you in a garment of strength and joy. His strength will allow you to navigate through dark days. His joy is in knowing that Matt is resting in the arms of the Master. My family and I extending my deepest sympathy to you. We will continue to keep you lifted in prayer.

Very difficult to believe that Matt left us so early. I coached Matt's soccer team for about 5 years and knew him very well. A great forward and a great guy. He never argued and was always 100%  team player. When I received the email from his father yesterday, I was shocked, I still have difficulty believing he is no longer with us. Today I drove by the soccer field we mostly played on and replayed the images of Matt scoring goal after goal. This is sad and my heart goes out to this wonderful family whom I have known for 10 years. I can't believe this happened but it's the reality!!!! I will always remember him and his smile. R.I.P. son.
