My dear Sweet Friend, Michal.  I'm going to miss you more than you WILL ever know.  I loved you, and we were good friends.  Unfortunately COVID kept us from seeing each other the past 9 months,  thus, we were unable to visit each other and watch Rachel Maddow together;  or to take a walk down the Paseo Plaza; to share a Belgium beer at the Grill listening to Gabriel the Violinist, looking forward to meeting Whitney for lunch or dinner at the Loft restaurant, and of course going to Rock Shabbat, enjoying fellowship  and looking forward to seeing Rabbi Magot.    Those were GREAT times we shared together!!!  WE were GOOD buddies and enjoyed each others company.  
I soo enjoyed the many conversations we had.  You were smart and well-read.  You were passionate of the issues facing downtown San Jose, and your voice was HEARD at City Hall,  many times.  You were also heard through the many  letters you sent into the San Jose Mercury News, which they printed.  Your love to opera opened my eyes, and last year I changed my season tickets from the SJ Symphony to the SJ opera.  You "discovered"  David, a world-wide known opera singer, while he was studying and you were living in Israel.  You followed his career from the beginning to a world-class opera singer. Although you were very proud of discovering David's talent, your bragging rights were surely placed on your precious grandkids, and great grandkids.  You knew ALL  of their birthdays,  and made sure you sent a book to each and everyone each year, and you made it CLEAR how much they were loved by you.You, my friend, were truly a renaissance woman.  You were so far ahead of your time.  You were independent, you were strong,  you lived and worked in Israel, retiring in San Jose creating a whole new life for yourself.
