

March 29, 2025 at the Veterans Hospital in Palo Alto Ca. At the age of 95.
He was born on July 22, 1929 to
James and Catherine Kreitzer of Camp Hill Pennsylvania where he grew up with his 5 brothers.
At the age of 19 he enlisted into the United States Air Force and served 1948-1952.
During the Korean War while stationed in Okinawa Japan he worked as a military airplane mechanic.
After his military years he started his career as a commercial airline mechanic working for Capital Airlines in Pennsylvania.
With his young family he eventually relocated to California to work for United Airlines in San Francisco.
Murray enjoyed his career and he retired after 38 years of combined service with both Capital and United Airlines.
His nickname was Ace and at his retirement he was given a plaque with the name “Ace” on it that read
“Thank’s Ace For A Great Job!
From Your Friends At UNITED”
Murray enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He loved listening to country music and he enjoyed watching old western movies.
His favorite teams were the San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco 49ers.
Murray was preceded in death by his son Brian Kreitzer of Ben Lomond Ca.
Murray is survived by his son
Scott Kreitzer of Campbell Ca. and a step son Douglas Owen of the Pismo Beach area Ca.
Murray is also survived by his nephews David, Kenny, Barry, Jeff and Rich who all live Back East.
Murray had a strong yet friendly personality who always welcomed guests into his home.
He is greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
