He is survived by his wife, Quynh Thi Thach, and his children: Duong Minh Nguyen (Mydung Thi Tong), Son Minh Nguyen (Hoanggiang Thi Nguyen), Thanhnga Thi Nguyen, Luong Minh Nguyen (Anh Hong Thi Doan), Thuymai Thi Nguyen (Dung Huu Nguyen), and Bangtam Thi Nguyen and son-in-law, Toan Tan Le. He is also survived by his grandsons, Quan Minh Nguyen and Trongle Tan Le.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Lanhuong Thi Nguyen, and sons, Hoang Minh Nguyen and Van Minh Nguyen, as well as an infant child. His parents, Cuu Thi Nguyen and Nhu Quang Nguyen, also predeceased him.
A visitation will be held on February 14, 2026, from 8:00 am to 8:00 p.m. at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125.
A funeral chant will take place on February 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. also at Lima Family Erickson. Graveside service to follow from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, in the Addition to B section of the cemetery.
