Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Theodore, of 35 years who passed away at the early age of 56. Theodore was a retired SM/SGT., U.S. Air Force for twenty-eight years. During this time, Phyllis traveled with him around the world taking care of the family.
Phyllis was the mother of Gregory Howaniec of Morgan Hill, Paula Townsend of San Jose, Dorie Andersen of San Jose, Scott Howaniec of Germany and the late James Howaniec. Grandmother to Heather Keithley currently living in Arkansas, Nicole Goodrich of Carlsbad and Traci Senegal of San Jose. Great Grandmother to Mariah Goodrich, Andre Goodrich, Eleanor Goodrich, Dean Keithley, Lincoln Keithley and Anaiya Senegal.
A viewing will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home’s Chapel of Roses, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, September 27, 12:30pm – 4:30pm. Interment will be September 28, 10:00am to 11:00am at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
