Polinario “Jose” Gonzalez Montes

Polinario was born in Jalisco, Mexico on July 23, 1953 and moved to the US when he was about 19 years old. He was a hardworking man who became a successful business owner of Montes Building Maintenance for over 35 years. He loved singing and cooking for his family, spending time with his dog Chubbs, completing word search puzzles, playing card games such as Conquian and Solitaire, and enjoyed watching the National Geographic channel and Wrestling.

Polinario is survived by his 4 siblings: Alberto, Luis, Oliva, Sofia; 6 children: Jose Montes, David Montes, Armando Montes, Gladys Jaramillo, Gabriel Montes, Ulysses Montes; 14 grandchildren: Destinie, Davina, Mia, Vida, David, Devin, Demi, Alexis, Steven, Delilah, Natalie, Giovanni, Adam, Nivea and many loving relatives, and close friends.

Polinario is preceded in death by his Parents: Otilio & Sira Montes; 4 siblings: Ramon Montes, Polito Montes, Trinidad Montes, Justo Montes.

Funeral services will be officiated by Father Hugo Rojas on Monday April 12, 2021 at Oak Hill Funeral Home in San Jose, CA. Viewing will be at 1:30pm, followed with Prayer at 2:30pm and Burial at 3:30pm (PST).
