She was born on August 30, 1933, in Santa Barbara, California, and was 1of 9 children.
She met the love of her life, Jose Sanchez, and married him. Once married they relocated from Santa Barbara to San Jose California. Her husband worked as a cement finisher and she was a stay-at-home mom who began to raise her family of 11 (6 boys and 5 girls).
Rosa had a big impact on her family and anyone she met or came into contact with. She was the biggest cheerleader for her children's and grandchildren's football, soccer, and track games.
Rosa had a big heart, and we were blessed to see how she welcomed her family and neighbors into her home with hugs and love. Everyone loved her and they will miss her.
She is survived by her 9 children, and her 80 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She loved unconditionally and loved to laugh and smile.
She Loved Our Lord Jesus Christ and ended her days thanking him.
When her youngest child turned 18 she went to work for Our Lady Of Fatima for 25 years where she once again showed love and compassion for her patients.
Her health started failing in 2014 and even though she was struggling with her health, she remained bubbly, strong, and yet gentle throughout the remaining years. On October 20, 2024, she left us peacefully to join her family in heaven. She was very much loved and will be missed more than words can say. God Bless you, Mom, your hugs and love will remain forever in our hearts!
