Rosie E. Castro passed away on February 7th, 2023 in San Jose, CA. She is survived by her only daughter Lisa Picazo, son-in-law Michael Picazo, only granddaughter Selena Martinez and grandson-in-law Nicolas Martinez, loving sister-in-law and mother-in-law Alice & Lena Contreras. Rosie had 8 brothers, 2 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. She is joined in heaven by her brothers Florentino, Raymundo Jr, Roger, Jesus (Jesse), Joey, and sister Esperanza (Hope).
Rosie was born in in Eagle Pass, Texas and moved with her family to Santa Clara, CA at a very young age. She attended Santa Clara high school and went on to work in various clerical administrative jobs. She enjoyed reading, had various hobbies, and loved spending time with family. Rosie always kept a positive attitude despite the many health challenges she faced. Her sense of humor, memorable company, and loving spirit will always be remembered. A memorial service will be held on February 22, 2023, 11:00am in Chapel of the Roses.
