Happy Birthday honey, I think of you each and everyday and especially on your birthday. Wish you were here, but I live with the memories of you each and every day. I still laugh and remember the days I would come home and you would be waiting at the door kneeling on your shoes so you looked like a little person or when I walked in and you would want to give me a kiss with  your goofy halloween teeth you hung onto from the year before. I miss the PB&J sandwiches you would make for lunch, your awesome menudo and amazing bbq chicken for dinner no one can ever match!I love you and always will, happy birthday...

I watched a few corny movies on fear net this weekend and thought about you so much Uncle Reub!  You really did leave a print in my heart for HORROR :)......my son Jayson resembles little Reub and sick in the head like him too when it comes to BLOOD!!

Hey my lil brotha
When I heard of your passing, I sat in my living room crying and laughing. I cried because I will never see you again in this life time, I laughed because I thought of all the fun times we had growing up. I remembered how much we loved each other, walking to school arm over arm and how I watched you like a hawk, making sure you didn’t get in any trouble because, you were a hand full. I remembered going horseback riding and how we would ride the heck out of them poor horses and playing football with the neighborhood kids you were like a deer running for your life from the hunters looking for space, I still hear the other kids saying watch out for that straight arm, them days were the bomb. When you told me you had met your soul mate and you were going to marry her all I could think was thank you baby Jesus because, it left me off the hook because you were a hand full and when you and Laura had the boys i saw how proud you were, that made me very  happy for you. Lastly, I just wanted to thank you. You may ask for what? I would have to say, for being my brother. I’ll let you go for now say hi to the rest of the clan and see you when I get there.

Ruben, you were a wonderful father, brother, and uncle. We will deeply miss your wonderful laugh and funny personality. We truly cherished the times we had with you, we know you are in a better place now.

May you rest in peace Uncle Rueb.  You will NEVER be forgotten just like some of our other family already there with you.  Yours & Aunties house was my favorite place to go everyday after school as a kid.  The memories will always be in my heart.  

Auntie, Rueb & Jay- Things will get better... Uncle Lou & Gramps is there with him. I belive that.  

Smile because I'm sure my dad is making him crack up.  They are ALL in a much better place.
