Socorro Robles

She was born on April 29, 1957, in Casa de Piedra, Michoacán, Mexico, to Gil and Esperanza Contreras. The eldest of nine children, she was a fearless and strong woman.

She met the love of her life, Manuel Robles, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in San Jose, California, and they were married on October 18, 1975. They spent 49 years together, creating a beautiful life and family.

She is survived by her husband, five children, nine grandchildren, and sons- and daughters-in-law, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

May she rest in peace and always remain in our hearts.

A visitation for Socorro will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125. A rosary service will occur Monday, June 30, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Maria Goretti Church, 2980 Senter Rd, San Jose, CA 95111. A committal service will occur Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.
