Jerry was hurt in Vietnam in 67. He was blown up by a hand grenade. We got married before he left. He was hospitalized for 5 years then he came home with me. We had 3 boys Cheyenne, Gerry and Brian. About 10 years after that he got in a jeep accident. He broke every bone in his body but survived. We have been married for 45 years, we loved each other very much more than anyone could ever image. I pray and hope he is in heaven looking down on me and helping me with these decisions I have because it’s overwhelming me. Jerry Boyer was a Vietnam War Veteran 173rd Airborne E5. He was 100% disabled. He is survived by his wife Vickie and 3 sons. He was a printer, mailman and welder. A wonderful man and loved terribly by his wife. He passed away Feb. 1. 2013. I want to say I loved him more than anything in the world and I always will. He was a good kind husband he bought me a house he raised his children and loved me. All I can say with so much sorrow that I have to say goodbye and I will miss him so very very much. Vickie.
