Thomas Mathews Ayala was born February 24, 1928 in San Jose, California and entered into rest October 4, 2017 in that same city. He was the loving father of Bill Silva (Ellen), Thomas Ayala Jr., and Yolanda Ayala, a devoted grandfather to five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was a cherished uncle and godfather to many.
Friends are invited to attend a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, San Jose.
