Hey Pop.......I talk to you most every day.  I love you and miss you so much.

So sad to hear the news of Cousin Harry's passing. Some of Richard's memories of Harry include his pride and enjoyment of his prized corvette. Also, his love of golf following in his Dad's footsteps. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family who will miss him greatly.

Nanci, your dedication was so touching. It reminded me of a few things, like water skiing and camping. Dad teaching me to parallel park between two oil cans in our driveway on Trumbull. I would sit out in driveway for hours pulling in and out between those two cans..To this day I brag about that lesson..Especially now that my grandchildren are beginning to drive. I know all 3 of us girls must share that memory each and every time we parallel park. And there was the time dad gave me 25 cents when I went on my first date. I asked dad why the 25 cents...he said "call me if you need me". (-:
And who can forget dads meatloaf. (-:

Sending you two kisses up in Heaven Grandpa. I know you are out on the links and the course will always be in perfect condition. I am so glad we got to play together, it is a memory I will cherish forever. I will miss you and I love you.

  Hey pop... not much to add since we last talked late Sunday.  It had to be that I was with you when you released your final exhale... after all God had prepared me... mm.., never really prepared enough are we?  I will continue to carry with me the times we shared... The time you and I spent three to four days trying to get Bud back on his feet after he got caught in a fence...   The vet telling us that at Bud's age of 34, and the condition of his heart he was too weak to get back up.., and after 'Bruce' gave Bud the 'freeing' shot you grabbed me, swung me around locking a bear hug on me, and as your chest was in rhythm with your tears you said to me... "... It's okay, he's out of pain now and he is in a better place...".  
     AND the time I called you in the wee hours of a morning 'cause my car had a dead battery and I was too 'cautious' to ask a stranger to help.  When you showed up our eyes met and you smiled.... no scolding, no incriminations,  just a sparkle in your eye and a grin on your lips..... You knew I knew... nothing needed to be said.... 
    AND when we were little and you used to leave little bags of plain or peanut m&m's on our night stands so we'd see them when we woke up... you worked nights so you were sleeping when we go up but we knew you were there 'cause of those m&m's.
     I'LL tell you again, you did good pop..... I already miss the Friday night 'visits' we had... solving the worlds problems, talking about current events, and silly stuff too.... laughing... our 'visits' always came with laughter!!!  And you were still laughing last Sunday.... you did it pop... (wink).

RIP beloved grandfather. I am so happy to have been blessed to be your granddaughter. Your sense of humor and grandiose personality will surely be missed. Thank you for raising three wonderful and inspiring women. I know your spirit will live on in all of us. I love you forever Gramps.

Sharing your chocolate chip cookies, orange sticks, love of automobiles, music and the fun things in life.  Here's to being true to yourself and I for one know that ..."you did it your way!!" Rest in Peace Dad. I had a chat with you yesterday. Did you hear me?  I told you I love you, how I will miss your big contagious smile and your two kisses and your uniqueness. Some may have thought you a bit of a 'rascal' (we know you enjoyed that (-: ), but in the end you kept all promises and I am proud to be your daughter. You seriously rock dad!  Two kisses xx

I am so Happy we were able to spend some time with you these last few day. Now you can rest in Peace with your beloved Princess. A journey of Love that started when you two were both so young.
