Lois Ball

Lois Marie Ball Lois Ball, born on March 5, 1928 passed away peacefully on February 5, 2012 with her family by her side. Lois was born in Fresno and attended Cal where she met and married her husband of 52 years, George Ball. Lois and George settled in Marin Co. and raised their family. Lois will be remembered for her incredible kindness and devotion to her family and friends. She was loyal to her friends and especially close to her Delta Gamma sorority sisters and lifelong friends. Lois never had an unkind word to say about anyone and will be remembered for her gracious spirit. Her interests were mainly focused on family, but also included extensive travel, gardening, playing bridge and especially spending time in Honolulu and Lake Tahoe. Lois was predeceased by her husband George and daughter Linda. She is survived by her loving daughters Leslie Knapp (Tom) and Susan Gomez (Steve) and granddaughters Lindsay and Kelly Knapp. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Marin Art and Garden Center, 30 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Ross, CA 94957 on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2:00PM.
