Paul Laszlo Bakonyvari. Long time resident of San Rafael. Born in New York on June 16, 1958, Paul passed away on July 13, 2013 from respiratory failure after a long term illness. He graduated from Marin Catholic High School and attended College of Marin. He worked for many years in the construction materials industry. Paul was an avid fan of all sports, especially rooting for the local teams, and he loved classic cars and classic rock music. He also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and sharing these passions with them. Paul is preceded in death by his father Laszlo Bakonyvari. He is survived by his mother Maria Bakonyvari of Walnut Creek, brothers George, Peter and Albert, his sister Marie Rubio, and nine nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday July 26 at 2:00PM at Saint Raphael's Chapel.
