Regina Hallquist

Regina M. Hallquist (nee Lucas) Age 88, of Kentfield, CA, passed away Thursday October 24, 2013. She was born in Eureka, Utah on September 6, 1925. Regina graduated from Tintic High School, Eureka, Utah and received a Nursing Certificate from Holy Cross Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah in 1947. She was married to Eric Douglas Hallquist on January 5, 1953 and resided with members of her family until recently at the family home in Kentfield. Regina worked in the health care industry as a Registered Nurse at Ft. Miley Hospital in San Francisco and at Center Medical in Kentfield. She was a member of St. Anselm's Church and had a passion for cats, roses and chocolate. She is survived by her children Philip Hallquist, Francis William Hallquist, Ana Louise Hallquist, and Eric Peter Hallquist; her grandchildren John Philip Hallquist and Helena Sarus (nee Bigall); and great-grandchildren Harper Rae Lagniappe Hallquist and James Apollo Sarus. A funeral mass will be said for her at 10:00 A.M. October 31, 2013 at St. Anselm's Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson's Association or American Heart Association .
