Rosa M. Quinonez

Rosa M. Quinonez, of San Rafael, passed away July 29th 2015. She was born in Laredo, Texas on May 23rd, 1940. Rosa graduated from Martin High School in Laredo, Texas. Rosa received a professional degree from John Adams School. She was married to Jorge Donaldo Puebla her high school sweetheart in May 1958 and had 4 loving and caring daughters. Rosa worked in the Payroll/Personel Department for the City and County of San Francisco. Rosa had a passion for puzzles, bingo (loteria), shopping and watching her favorite program, Gordo Y la Flaca, but found such joy in watching her Novellas, she loved playing with her cat Elvis, teaching him tricks and was so proud of how she taught him to roll over. She is survived by her daughters, Veronica Puebla Richardson (Philip), Georgina Gogna (David), Selina Granado, (Eduardo), Rosa Puebla, her grandchildren Maria, Veronica, James, Jasmine, Alicia, Philip Jr, Eduardo Jr, Jorge, Jessica, David, Jennifer, Manuel, Krystal, Miguel, Anthony, Nicole, and 7 great grandchildren. Rosa is predeceased by her Mother Soledad Hernandez, her Father Rosendo Hernandez, and her sister Martina Garcia.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, at 10am followed by a funeral service at 11am at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
