Brian Patrick McCormack

Brian was born August 24, 1951 in Brookline, the son of Peter Michael and Mary Frances (Wilson) McCormack. He attended and graduated Brookline High School in 1969 where he was a state champion wrestler. He then attended Boston State University. On March 12, 2006, Brian was united in marriage to Susan Frances Tomeo.

He was a retired postal clerk with the United State Postal Service.

Brian enjoyed golfing, gardening and was a very avid sports fan. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle.

Preceding Brian in death were his parents, and 2 brothers Kevin McCormack and Peter McCormack.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Susan, daughter Kellie McCormack of Yarmouth; step-son Ryan Knox of Casper, WY and step daughter Holly Gonsalves and husband Carl of Falmouth; sisters Maureen Siegelman and husband John of Meredith, NH; Kathleen Osol and husband Robert of Falmouth and Eileen McCormack of Sandwich. He is also survived by 2 step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be at 11 am Saturday October 25, 2014 at the St. Patrick Church in Falmouth. Burial will follow in the Sandwich Town Cemetery.

A wake will be Friday October 24, 2014 from 4-8 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home in Sandwich.

Memorials may be made in Brian’s name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Boston Chapter.
