Curtis Almy Preece, Jr.

Curtis Preece Jr (Skip) died after a brave battle with a terminal illness. Curtis was born and raised in New Bedford Massachusetts where he attended New Bedford High. After graduation Curtis proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years at the Acushnet Company before moving on to Rebook where he was a 20+ year employee where he made lifelong friendships.

Curtis was an avid Bowler for many years. A love he passed on to his son. Curtis loved sports the Red Sox &Bruins but nothing compared to his love of his Green Bay Packers. You could always find him head to toe in Packer apparel. Curtis favorite thing in life was spending time with his grandchildren which he did daily always providing a story of life lesson

Curtis is survived by his Son Curtis Preece the 3 rd (Chip) and his daughter in law Lorin Preece his grandchildren Chance, Chace & Chaz from Sandwich ma. Stepson Stephen Dion of Fall River His sister Maryann Preece of New Bedford and Brother Elery Preece of Florida. Nephews Mathew and Joshua Garcia of Fairhaven and the late Eric Souza and his Niece Sherry Souza of Florida.

A visitation for Curtis will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nickerson~Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich, Massachusetts 02563. Burial is private.
